About me

I know the popular phrase most people say is "you gotta focus on the process instead of the result" when it comes to art making. And I get what they mean. The process is the most important part. It's how you are able to come to the finished product and it's where you experience the most growth. Which I agree with. But the feeling of taking a step back and admiring the finished product that is just so much better. Staring at the hours of work, the sweat, the headaches, the late nights. The thoughts of "I did this, I did this all on my own, I built this with my own hands." That feeling beats any other feeling in the world. I feel like for me, that feeling is what I chase every time I start a new drawing, or sketch, or painting. It's very addicting. Each time I chase any even greater feeling of admiration, "what more could I do? How can I make something even greater than this? What is the next big thing that I can create." Thats been my journey ever since I began to pursue the arts. Taking the next step forward, climbing the next wall in front of me. Maybe I will never be satisfied. But maybe one day I will. If I can make or contribute to beautiful artworks that families and friends and people can enjoy as a career, I would do it in a heartbeat, no matter what it takes. No matter the cost.

At the end of the day, I did what I loved.
